Remembering 9/11

By Mark Elliott

Hard to believe it’s been 12 years. So much has happened in that time. From a technology perspective, we’re more connected than ever.
Nearly 3,000 died that day, and many more since. Also, more than 6,000 others were injured and all of us were heartbroken.
Our lives were changed in so many ways that day. Change continues and seems to come more quickly than ever.
Today, we can communicate in so many different ways, sometimes it’s nearly impossible to keep them straight. We have so many ways to document our lives and so many tools to communicate. Yet sometimes life moves so fast, we forget how easy it is to stay connected.
We should take a moment to remember those who have come and gone in our lives, the things we’ve seen and experienced, and how the world has changed.
We should take a moment to remember. We should take a moment to reach out to the people in our lives.
