Content Filtering: a useful tool for parents who want more control

Today 56% of kids age 8-12 have a cell phone1  and one in four American teenagers accesses the Internet primarily through mobile.2   So it’s no surprise parents express concern about the content their children may have access to on a mobile device.
 
Just as Sprint has been a strong parent partner by offering the useful suite of security and safety services such as Sprint Guardian, we also offer parents the tool to filter content for any phone on their account.  Content Filtering helps parents set boundaries to help ensure kids are using devices in a way their parents deem appropriate whether they are at home, at school or on-the-go. Content Filtering is an opt-in service that allows customers the choice to block Web destinations pertaining to “Adult Content”, and “Malware”.  
 
The service is free to Sprint customers and easy to set up on Sprint.com. After logging into your My Account page simply click on My Preferences, then limits and permissions and then click on content filter. Select the phone for which you want the filter to apply and click save.
