Jaime Jones

Jaime Jones, reporting to Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, is president of the East Area for Sprint. His territory covers 28 U.S. states in 10 regions across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and South, as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Based in Atlanta, Jaime is responsible for sales strategy and execution, network oversight, customer service, marketing communications and general operations. This strategy enables Jaime to create a culture of ownership at the market level, uniting employees in the common objective of winning locally across all sales channels (prepaid, postpaid, business, and enterprise).
Before being named to this role, Jones served as president of the South Area, overseeing 10 states.
Jones previously served as president of the Postpaid and General Business organization, responsible for the consumer and general business sales strategy and distribution, sales and operations of more than 3,000 company-owned and indirect partner-owned stores, national retail, Telesales and Web Sales channels. Jones has also served as senior vice president for the Consumer Sales organization, senior vice president for the General Business and Public Sector organizations, and numerous vice president roles at the area, regional and national levels for Local, Emerging and Mid-Markets, and General Business units.

Jones has more than 30 years of experience with technology companies, including management and operations roles for Siemens Communications Inc. (formerly IBM, ROLM Systems Division) and Harris/3M-Central Penn Office Products Inc. (formerly 3M Copying Products Division).
Jones lives in Atlanta with his wife, Mary.
