Prior to her current role, Tracy was President of the Illinois and Wisconsin Region at Sprint, where she focused on developing market-specific offerings to reflect the unique needs of customers across the consumer and business segments in the region. A large part of her responsibilities included supporting Sprint for Chicago, an initiative that brings network enhancement, job creation, retail store expansion, significant marketing and advertising spending, and civic investment to the Chicagoland area. The investment included spending nearly $150 million and the addition of more than 1,000 new jobs in Chicago proper.
A former president of Verizon Wireless for the Illinois and Wisconsin markets, Tracy comes to Sprint most recently from Hyla Mobile, formerly eRecycling Corp., where she was senior vice president of Carrier Operations and Business Development and supported the Verizon account. She has also served as chief operating officer for American Communications Network.
Tracy grew up in Rochester, New York, and is a graduate of Clarkson University, where she majored in marketing research and information management systems. She currently serves as a member of Connect Chicago’s Technology Advisory Council, is a board member of Youth Guidance and has been featured in “Women to Watch” in the cable industry, Influential Women in Business and Forty under Forty awards.
