Wireless Network Improvements Keep Customers Connected to the Internet, E-Mail, GPS Services, Messaging, Social Networks and More

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2009-- Sprint (NYSE:S) wireless customers in the Houston market are experiencing stronger wireless service as a result of recent local network enhancements. During 2008, Sprint invested more than $33 million in the Houston metro market for network expansion and enhancements for its Sprint Nationwide Network and Nextel National Network. In addition, Sprint invested more than $105 million throughout the state of Texas.
