Nationally, Sprint has invested billions to enhance its networks, increase coverage and capacity and these investments are paying off. Across both of Sprint’s wireless networks, significantly fewer calls are blocked or dropped, translating to better connections for customers. The Nationwide Sprint Network and the Nextel National Network are performing at best-ever levels.
"Customers can trust Sprint’s robust, ever-growing voice coverage to keep them in touch with friends, family, and co-workers. Whether it’s catching a conference call or just catching-up, Sprint provides the largest voice calling area*, enabling customers to talk in more places," said Jones.
In addition to more than $166.7 million that Sprint spent in Florida in the first half of the year, Sprint expects to have invested more than $6 billion nationally to further enhance its networks in 2007 and to continue to meet the demand for extensive mobile broadband coverage across the nation.

The Sprint Mobile Broadband Network (inclusive of data roaming) reaches more than 230 million people, 12,721 cities and 1,220 airports.
