Sprint and eAccess Solutions Join in Donating Wireless Communication Services to City of Chicago Division

The Power of Sprint Network Will Help City's Children and Youth

Services Coordinate Efforts Throughout Chicagoland

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2007--Sprint (NYSE:S) today announced that it has joined with eAccess Solutions, Inc., to donate a year's worth of free Blackberry service to the city's Department of Children and Youth Services (CYS). In addition to the free service, approximately 17 RIM Blackberry devices have been donated to CYS by eAccess Solutions, a leading provider of mobile data hardware, software and integration services.

The City of Chicago's CYS organization is dedicated to helping Chicago's youngest residents make the most of their lives and their potential. CYS manages programs that serve Chicago's children and youth through a citywide partnership of more than 300 community organizations, social service providers and institutions. They advocate on behalf of children, families and communities, especially those most at risk, to promote their well-being and successful development. Working closely with city departments and agencies, CYS strives to meet the needs of all the children of Chicago.

"The task of managing all our communications and coordinating our efforts with the multitudes of agencies we work with is an enormous undertaking," said Mary Ellen Caron, Ph.D, Commissioner of CYS. "Thanks to the generous donations of Sprint and eAccess Solutions, we'll be able to manage these tasks much more efficiently. Additionally, these donated services help us address the challenges large-city organizations such as ours face everyday due to reduced budgets and limited resources."

Blackberry devices used by CYS will be powered by the Sprint Nextel network, which has been further enhanced as part of Sprint's overall $198 million network investments made throughout Chicagoland in 2006.

"We're proud to join eAccess Solutions on providing this comprehensive communications solution for CYS," said J. W. Penland, Sprint area vice president of Sales. "Sprint takes our commitment to be a responsible corporate citizen in Chicagoland very seriously. We believe this donation will greatly assist CYS in its important task of helping the city's youth."

Using Blackberry wireless solutions, CYS field representatives will be able to stay in touch with department heads back at their main office via respond e-mails and be able to communicate quickly with other agencies and organizations throughout the entire city.

"Being headquartered in Chicago, eAccess understands what's important to our community," said Duane Spivey, eAccess vice president of Sales and Marketing. "Providing our children with opportunities and taking a role in their well-being is paramount. From a corporate perspective, that means working together with strategic business partners like Sprint to find ways our combined technology can help organizations that are focused on benefiting children, which is the sole objective of CYS."
