Sprint looking to fill up to 100 positions in the Denver area
Job hiring to support company’s commitment to the market, its business priorities, and help deliver an exceptional experience to its wireless customers
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), August 30, 2010 - Sprint (NYSE: S) is hiring in its call center in Englewood, Colo. With 80 to 100 positions to fill in the center by the end of the year, the jobs are an economic boom for the city during a time when other companies may be either downsizing or have put freezes on hiring.
Sprint will hold an exclusive on-site hiring event from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (MDT) Tuesday, Aug.31, at 333 Inverness Drive South in Englewood. This special event is designed for Sprint representatives to meet job-seekers and for candidates interested in management, business wireless customer care or technical support to learn more about the positions.
The decision to hire is in anticipation of increased customer interest in Sprint’s 4G device lineup, including HTC EVO™ 4G, America’s first 3G/4G phone, and the upcoming Samsung Epic™ 4G, which launches Aug. 31. Sprint 4G, the next generation of wireless service, which provides faster mobile downloads and turbo-charged Web browsing, will be available in Denver soon and is currently available in over 45 markets.
