Sprint Relay Honors Organizations Dedicated to Providing Services to Florida's Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2006--Sprint (NYSE:S) today will honor several organizations in the State who provide services for deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech disabled Floridians. Representatives from the organizations will be treated to activities and refreshments at a special event at Raymond James Stadium, this evening, from 5 - 8 p.m.

Sprint Relay provides the federally mandated relay service for the State of Florida and these organizations and individuals work closely with Sprint Relay to help provide information, training, advocacy and equipment distribution to consumers of the service in Florida.

    The organizations to be recognized are:

    The Florida Association of the Deaf
    Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc.
    Florida School for the Deaf and Blind
    Hearing Loss Association of Florida
    Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing
