Connected Cars Gain Momentum in Canada

Millions of Canadians are about to experience the convenient, helpful and entertaining connected car experience offered by Sprint Velocity.
 
Rogers Communications Inc. and Sprint recently announced an agreement enabling Sprint to bring a comprehensive in-car infotainment and telematics solution to Canadians. Auto manufacturers deploying Sprint Velocity in Canada will leverage Rogers’ wireless networks to connected vehicles on the road.

What this means
 
  • Vehicles using the Sprint Velocity solution will provide access to a seamless, connected experience on the road.
  • Convenient in-dash touch screens will provide connected services, including infotainment (news, weather, sports and more), navigation, climate control, security, emergency services and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Sprint Velocity also provides connectivity for mobile devices in the car, including smartphones and tablets.
