What a game – and what a performance by The Rolling Stones. Starting today, Sprint (NYSE: S) Music Store customers can relive the excitement of the Super Bowl XL Halftime Show whenever they choose.

Until March 31, 2006, only Sprint Music Store customers can purchase these exclusive tracks: each high-quality, digital recording of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "Start Me Up" and "Rough Justice" from the Sprint Super Bowl XL Halftime Show costs $2.50.

When the purchase is complete, customers receive two high-quality copies of the song: one version formatted to play and enjoy only on their Sprint Power VisionSM phones, and another version formatted to download to their PC's. Customers can also burn their music to a CD.

"This is another exciting element of Sprint's Super Bowl XL sponsorship reserved for our customers," said Steve Gaffney, director of marketing for Sprint. "Last year, Sprint introduced the first wireless music store in the United States. We want our customers to be able to replay the fantastic songs from the halftime show whenever they want."

Sprint Music Store
In October 2005, Sprint opened the first wireless music store in the United States that allows its customers to browse, preview, download, play and manage high-quality digital music, right from their Sprint Power Vision phones. Sprint customers can now enjoy music on the go and have the ability to purchase and download music when they want to – not just when they are in front of a PC.

Sprint Music Store customers can browse, preview and purchase more than 300,000 songs from virtually every genre of music from EMI Music, SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group.

Sprint is the leader of mobile music services. Sprint was the first U.S. mobile carrier to provide:

  • a service that allows full-length songs to be purchased and downloaded over the air via the Sprint Music Store,
  • live TV and exclusive live video/audio of a full-length rock concert (Bon Jovi),
  • streaming music and continues to provide exclusive streaming music channels, including SIRIUS Music and Rhapsody Radio,
  • ring tones that sound like actual song recordings via Music Tones and to allow customers to create their own original ring tones via ToneMaker DJ,
  • gold and platinum awards when artists' albums sell 500,000 and one million Music Tones respectively.
