In his role as Sprint’s vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility, Reid has responsibility for leading Sprint’s overall social responsibility and environmental efforts as well as direct management of Sprint’s Community Affairs, Employee Volunteerism, and Corporate Diversity and Inclusion efforts. He also directs Sprint’s philanthropic activities as president of the Sprint Foundation.
In addition, he is currently president of the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Downtown Minority Development Corporation and vice chairman of the Greater Kansas City Urban League. He also serves on the Boards of Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, Kansas City Repertory Theater, Heart of America United Way, Salvation Army, Greater KC Chamber of Commerce, Oakwood University and Park University and is vice president of the Kansas City United Community Action Agency.
