What are you watching today?
I was lucky enough to attend the Hollywood premiere last week. Thanks to our friends at Hulu, all I can say about the first episode is wow! This episode clearly begins a new chapter, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in the second episode and beyond.
If you’re fan of The Handmaid’s Tale or of any of the other 1,700 show titles on Hulu, here are 4 tips to make watching even more fun and seamless.
- Use Amazon’s Alexa to find the content you love – Can’t find your remote? Use your voice instead. With Hulu’s Amazon Alexa integration, you can search by genre, specific show or network. You can say, for example, “Alexa, turn on ESPN on Hulu” and Alexa will open up the Hulu app and put you directly into ESPN’s live feed.
- Personalize the ads – Simply sign into Hulu and then go to your “Account.” From there scroll down to “Personalize Ad Experience” under “Privacy and Settings.” You will be prompted to take a short quiz about your preferences so you get ads that are more relevant to you. It’s quick and easy.
- Check out the specially curated editorial collections – OK, so you’ve scrolled through the entire Hulu library and still can’t decide? Let Hulu’s editorial team help you choose. Under “Home,” you’ll find expertly curated, timely one-stop destinations for must-watch programming like “Comedy Favorites.” I found a handful of shows that I didn’t even know about.
- Set up multiple profiles (including kids’ profiles) – With Hulu, you can create up to six profiles to indicate preferences for different family members. You can also set up a child’s profile so that they can only watch kid-friendly content.
Personally, I enjoy what I call “catch-up TV.” Thanks to the excellent TV content available on Hulu, I can catch up when I’ve missed an episode of one of my favorite shows – like This is Us. I’d love to hear about your favorite shows on Hulu and what you think about the new season of The Handmaid’s Tale. And, if you’re a Sprint customer, remember to sign up for Hulu because Sprint Unlimited includes all the TV you love, with Hulu.
Look for more from me soon – especially as it relates to news about Sprint and Hulu.
