Angela Rittgers is senior vice president for Sprint Acquisition Marketing and chief marketing officer for the Sprint Prepaid Group, where she is responsible for Sprint’s Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile brands.
She oversees acquisition strategies for Sprint’s postpaid products, and she is also accountable for the brand strategy, products and services, pricing and offers, media and advertising, customer experience and base marketing for Sprint’s Prepaid Group.
Angela joined Sprint as vice president of prepaid marketing as part of the 2013 Clearwire acquisition. At Clearwire, she served as senior director of marketing, responsible for transforming the company from a two-year contract model to a no-contract model.
Before Clearwire, Angela served in various roles at Alltel Wireless. She has more than 15 years of wireless telecommunications experience across three wireless carriers and has worked in numerous marketing and engineering roles, including network engineering, network planning, product development, product management, operations, marketing, brand strategy and pricing.
Angela graduated from the University of Tulsa with Bachelor of Science degrees in electrical engineering and computer science.
