Continuing a long-standing tradition, Boost Mobile will be kicking off its “Giving Thanks While Giving Back” campaign this holiday season to help families in need.
Over the years, the holidays have become synonymous with community giving at Boost Mobile, complementing our affordable family plan offerings. The desire to always keep the customer at the root of what we do resonates through our initiatives, and this annual practice has become one of my favorite traditions as part of the Boost Mobile family.
This Thanksgiving, we’re teaming up with LG to kick-off our “Giving Thanks While Giving Back” initiative to provide free Butterball turkey vouchers to anyone looking for help during the holiday season. Taking place over the weekend of November 22-24, the campaign will include a series of events at Boost Mobile stores in major cities across the East Coast such as Atlanta, New York and Philadelphia. Families interested in picking up a turkey or a turkey voucher can simply go to a participating Boost Mobile location where they will also have the opportunity to participate in:
- Exclusive giveaways including a chance to have your Thanksgiving Day dinner “Boosted” by Boost Mobile and LG
- On-site device demos and activations from LG, with opportunities for additional prizes and premium swag
In addition to the in-store donation events spanning our stores, Boost Mobile is also partnering with Safe Horizon, a non-profit organization based in New York, to host a Thanksgiving dinner for Safe Horizon’s homeless youth program, Street Works Project, on November 26. Attendees will leave with a care package including cold weather necessities as well as an LG donated device with three months of Unlimited Gigs Boost service.
As part of the partnership, Boost Mobile will also be providing resume development and interviewing coach services for a week to Safe Horizon’s youth to assist them in their job search and career development.
As always, our goal with this campaign is to make the lives of those in need a little easier, and I personally think there’s no time like the holidays to give back. I hope families and youth in need will participate in the community events we have planned, and I’m certainly looking forward to giving thanks while giving back this season and beyond.
