OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – December 8, 2017 – Sprint is painting Kansas City yellow in support of the city over the holidays with local sponsorships of Union Station during the Classic Holiday Movie Series and Kauffman Center during performances of The Nutcracker and Kansas City Symphony. During the weekend of December 8-10, 2017, these iconic venues in Kansas City will be transformed by Sprint in support of arts and culture in the company’s own backyard.

The exterior of Union Station will be awash in yellow light during showings of the Polar Express movie on December 8 and again December 10-12, 2017. Additionally, Kauffman Center will also get a treatment of yellow lighting during events such as performances of The Nutcracker by the Kansas City Ballet and the Kansas City Symphony December 8-10, 2017.

“Kansas City is our hometown and we wanted to share in the holiday spirit with our family, friends and neighbors,” said Tim Donahue, Sprint’s Regional President for the Midwest. “These sponsorships are to demonstrate Sprint’s investment in our own community with a meaningful show of support for our city, our iconic venues and to highlight these prime destinations over the holidays.”
