Marci Carris is senior vice president of Customer Care and is responsible for all aspects of care strategy and delivery, including consumer and business care, social care, credit call center, collections, sale support, and order support. She leads a combined internal and partnered organization of about 25,000 people.
Marci’s vision is simple yet powerful: “Create promoters through customer advocacy and a low-effort experience, ensuring every customer is happy, satisfied and feels valued.”
She has a passion for delivering an amazing customer experience, developing a strong team of leaders in the care organization, and cross-functionally mentoring leaders across Sprint.
She has more than 30 years of broad business and leadership experience. In addition to call center operations and delivery, Marci was assistant treasurer at Nextel and Sprint. At Ameritech, Marci worked in corporate and business unit strategic planning, including the Ameritech-Southwestern Bell merger. Before joining the telecom industry, Marci was a manager with Peterson & Company, a litigation support consulting firm.
Marci earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Business Administration in finance and strategy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has participated in the University of Michigan Global Leadership Program, Nextel Leadership Development Program at Georgetown University, and Duke University Executive Leadership Program.
Marci is a member of the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center Advisory Board.
