Today at MWC Los Angeles, Sprint announced it has expanded its True Mobile 5G service to now cover approximately 16 million people within nine metropolitan areas

Sprint is introducing two devices to its suite of indoor small cell solutions to improve data coverage and speeds in residences and businesses. The devices are a small femtocell and a new version of the award-winning Sprint Magic Box, both of which will be on display at the company's MWC Los Angeles 2019 exhibit (Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall #1702), Oct. 22-24.

HAAS Alert, a Chicago-based startup whose mission is to make roads safer by alerting drivers of emergency vehicles, recently completed the first pilot of fleet cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) tests on Sprint's 5G network in Chicago.

Sprint (NYSE: S) is looking for the next class of technology startups to join its 2020 Corporate Accelerator program, focused on the power of its new True Mobile 5G network. Startups working on the next disruptive emerging technology that will lead to the development and commercialization of 5G-enabled products, applications, and solutions that deliver on the brand promise of True Mobile 5G are encouraged to apply. The program begins April 6, 2020 and will run for 90 days.

Sprint will headline the grand opening of Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners – the nation's first 5G-powered smart city technology proving ground – on September 11 in the City of Peachtree Corners, Ga.
