OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – APRIL 26, 2017 Sprint (NYSE: S) apologizes to its customers in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands who were without wireless service for several hours on Tuesday due to a fiber cut from another company. To thank customers for their patience for this interruption, the company will provide the affected customers with a $5 bill credit.
“We’re sorry that our customers experienced network issues yesterday,” said Marcelo Claure, Sprint CEO.  “Although the situation was out of our control, we worked as quickly as possible to restore service. When these things happen, we want to take care of our customers and thank them for choosing Sprint.”
