OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – December 8, 2017 – Due to the wildfires raging in Southern California, Sprint will waive text, call and data overage fees for Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile customers in affected areas of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties from December 7 through December 11, 2017.
Customers on Unlimited plans will continue to enjoy their unlimited data, call and text benefits.
“As we watch the heartbreaking destruction, we are grateful for the many men and women who are fighting to protect the homes and businesses of our family, friends, neighbors and Sprint customers, and we want to make sure they stay in touch with loved ones without additional worries,” said Kevin Kunkel, Sprint’s Regional President for Southern California. “The Sprint network is performing well, with disruptions kept to a minimum and keeping people connected during this difficult time.”
